Family Dollar and Dollar Tree, both owned by the same company, have co-branded, and are featured together in their Combo store format. The new store is located at 50 N. Magnolia Avenue in Hubbard, directly across the street from Dollar General, providing the local community with a trifecta of discounted retail shopping experiences, just in time for seasonal preparations.
The left side of the new store displays Family Dollar products, offering discounted household essentials and pantry staples, while the right side features rotating seasonal decor, craft supplies, and party planning Dollar Tree items. Shoppers will discover the store to be well-organized and fully stocked with exciting seasonal offerings and unique product assortments.
An official grand opening event is scheduled for Thursday, October 13, with activities planned to delight shoppers of all ages throughout the day. Store Manager, Yudy Baeza, explained, “We’ll have all day entertainment including face-painting, coloring contests, games inside and on the buggies, and even a raffle.” Baeza continued, “Shoppers can enter to win store gift cards valued at $100 and $50. The drawings will be held at the end of the day, and winners do not need to be present to accept their prize.” The Combo store is now open every day from 8am to 10pm.
The corporate Dollar Tree website attributes convenience and value to the success of the new Combo store design and reports, “We’ve brought Family Dollar and Dollar Tree together under one roof, starting in small, rural towns across the country that had limited retail options. Our customers love the concept and we are expanding past just small towns. We ended fiscal 2021 with more than 240 Combo stores opened and plan to add hundreds
more in the coming years.”
