The Dawson Police Department received another officer in its department with the addition of Clay Coker.
Coker, a graduate of Blooming Grove High School, has proudly served Blooming Grove for the last 9 years after his 2013 graduation from the Navarro College Police Academy. Coker stated, “I served Blooming Grove PD in patrol, code enforcement and conducting investigations.”
The new officer will begin his tenure at Dawson PD on March 24th and looks forward to meeting the citizens of Dawson at Dawson’s Easter in the Park to be held on April 1st at the City Park from 11 AM – 4 PM.
Clay Coker has been married to wife Keri for 15 years and share a teenage daughter.
