Banjo with Tactor Supply Mgr. Amie Hartley at the pet adoption event held in conjunction with the Corsicana Animal Shelter this past Saturday. Banjo was one of 24 that found their furever home during the event.
Corsicana Animal Shelter still houses many more pets available for adoption and encourages you to call and make an appointment to see what pets are available for you to take home.
According to a post on their Facebook page, “With tears of joy and overflowing hearts, we are happy to say that 24, yes, TWENTY FOUR dogs and cats were adopted out at our Tractor Supply adoption event!!”
Thanking everyone for their support, it continued to say, “We are blown away by the incredible advocates we have and want to thank not only our supporters, adopters, donors, and community but also the employees of Tractor Supply for all of their hard work in putting this together for our shelter pets. This will allow us to move animals out of wire crates and into actual kennels. Each and every one of you should be proud of yourselves: from volunteers to adopters to shelter staff and all those involved behind the scenes.”
Twenty-four homeless pets will sleep in new homes tonight, getting the love and affection they all deserve.
