Governor Abbott Scheduled to Arrive on Sunday

Allen Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Dallas Field Office and Allen Premium Outlets have coordinated to reunite individuals with vehicles and personal items left at the property following Saturday’s tragic shooting. These agencies are working on behalf of victims to complete this process quickly, while ensuring no interference with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s active investigation. We are grateful for the continued patience during this complex effort.

The following procedures have been established for vehicle and property pickup:

VEHICLE PICKUP
Beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8, individuals who have not yet retrieved their vehicle from Allen Premium Outlets should go directly to the outlet’s north entrance, located between Sketchers and Champs Sports. Be sure to have your car keys with you.  You will be checked in and escorted by security to your vehicle. Shopping areas will remain closed and only store managers will be allowed to enter any store. No transportation or victim escort will be offered from The Edge Skate Park or Allen Senior Recreation Center after 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8.  (See map on next page.)

PERSONAL PROPERTY PICKUP
Property abandoned inside retail stores or restaurants will be collected by individual store managers and distributed back to owners according to each store’s Lost and Found policy. Individuals should contact the store where items were abandoned to coordinate a time for pickup. View Allen Premium Outlets directory for store contact information.

Property abandoned in open areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, outdoor seating areas or other community spaces will be available for pickup at the Family Assistance Center located at Allen Senior Recreation Center (451 St. Mary Drive, Allen, TX 75002). The Family Assistance Center will be open Monday, May 8 through Wednesday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Partner agencies will also be available at this location for additional victim services:

·       American Red Cross

·       LifePath Systems

·       Salvation Army

·       Allen Police Department

·       Department of Public Safety, Victim Services
