Frank Hull is committed to the art scene in Corsicana as well as ensuring the love and appreciation of creative arts continues for generations.
Hull founded the Hull Creative Arts Foundation in 2014 in honor of his late wife, Patricia, to support the arts and foster a love and appreciation for the arts.
The nonprofit foundation’s mission is to award scholarships to qualified graduating Seniors who currently are attending Navarro County schools.
“Our goal is to help those students who show a passion for the creative arts,” said Hull.
Hull as well as a past scholarship recipient talked about the impact the scholarships have on the lives of students who are reaching toward their goals.
The Casino Night held Saturday at the Corsicana Country Club is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser for the year. The games included Blackjack and other Casino favorites.
The scholarships support those who plan to pursue a creative arts major, assist aspiring youth to develop skills and talents in the creative arts, and encourage area youth to appreciate the role the creative arts play in their lives through local programs.
Saturday’s Casino Night will fund those scholarships for the 2026-2027 year.
Applications are due by May 1, they will be awarded by May 1, said Hull.
