Commissioners Swear In New ESD Members

The December 23rd Commissioner’s Court meeting, the final meeting of 2024, ironed out some end of year details and focused on general housekeeping topics. Half the agenda focused on approving contracts for Texoma HIDTA for 2025 while the rest covered purchase orders for Precinct one and two, and the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office. Precinct two’s financing contract for their new Mack Truck was approved as was the draft for an Interlocal Agreement Between Navarro County and the City of Corsicana for various enumerated services for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
Both Greg Younger and Pete Parrish were appointed to the Emergency Services District (ESD) Board. Both were sworn in by the court and have promised to serve faithfully.
The meeting wrapped up quickly and court will reconvene on January 13th at 10AM for the first meeting on 2025.
