C&S Baking Co. Officially Opens Downtown

C&S Baking, Corsicana’s favorite baking food truck now has a storefront in the Corsicana Opry’s front room.

While no grand opening date has been confirmed yet, their store is ready for families looking for a fun place to eat some delicious sandwiches or unique sweet treat concoctions. Known for their decorated cookies, C&S opens their doors at the perfect time for the holidays. The converted short bus has been a Corsicana Staple for the last four years and will continue to be one of the mediums for Candice and Scott to spread their good cheer in the form of sundaes, cookies and waffle creations.
The sweets shop takes the place of the Corsicana Creamery which closed in June of 2024. The shop takes Bluebell Ice creams, some flavors of which cannot be found in stores, and upgrades them into decadent and rich treats such as the Unicorn Sundae, a creamy cotton candy ice cream topped with whipped cream “hair”, rainbow sprinkles, a drizzle of bright pink icing and topped with an ice cream cone horn. The Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle with its rich drizzle and fresh strawberries and the brownie sundae with its perfectly chewy brownie garnish and light and creamy bluebell ice cream are perfectly portioned. If you haven’t tried C&S Baking, you can find them at the Corsicana Opry in historic downtown. You won’t want to miss this new shop.
