Mike Fletcher has officially thrown his hat in the City of Corsicana Mayoral race, set to take place this May.
If you have shopped at H-E-B in Corsicana, chances are that you have probably shared a handshake or a smile with Mike.
As the now retired store manager at Corsicana’s H-E-B for 19 years, Fletcher has missed the community involvement since his retirement.
Running for Mayor of Corsicana is not a decision that was entered into lightly, he stated, “I want to continue the legacy that is Corsicana, to make the quality of life continue to flourish for the citizens of Corsicana.” Fletcher continued, “I think the current City of Corsicana council has done an excellent job with the decisions they have made during their tenures.”
“I want to be a support for the great things that Corsicana is already doing for the citizens. If I am elected as the next mayor of Corsicana, I know I will have a lot to learn, but I am excited to be a part of the team,” Fletcher said.
Mike Fletcher and his family moved from Waco, Texas in the early 2000’s, making their home in Corsicana.
Also, signed up for re-election is Chris Woolsey, Precinct 3 Councilman, Jeff Smith, Precinct 4 Councilman, Kerri Anderson Donica, City Attorney, and Cody Beauchamp, City Judge.
