This week, The City of Richland gains a new City Administrator/Secretary with the hiring of Susan Hale-Melton.
Current Richland City Administrator Sharon Settlemyer has accepted a position with the City of Blooming Grove.
Melton was hired last month during an emergency called Richland City Council meeting, specifically called to interview 3 candidates for the position. With a unanimous vote, Melton was selected to replace Settlemyer, and will finish her training today.
Settlemyer was selected by the Blooming Grove City Council to fill the vacant City Secretary/Administrator position, previously held by Beth Nemeth – who retired last fall.
