Henry Cho To Perform At Palace Theater in April

Stand-up comedian Henry Cho will be performing at The Palace Theater in Corsicana, TX on Friday, April 8 at 7 PM.

Henryโ€™s work can be heard nationwide several times weekly onย XM Radioโ€˜s Channel 151,ย Laugh USA,ย Sirius Radioโ€˜s Blue Collar Radio Channel 103, andย Pandora Radioโ€˜s PG Comedy Radio Channel. Cho is notable for being one of the only Asian acts to appear regularly on theย Grand Ole Opry.

Cho appeared on many television shows in the late 1980s and early 1990s, includingย The Arsenio Hall Show,ย Bob Hopeโ€˜s Young Comedians Special,ย MTVโ€˜sย 1/2 Hour Comedy Hourย andย VH-1โ€˜sย Stand-Up Spotlight. His other TV credits include guest roles on variousย sitcomsย such asย Designing Women,ย Lenny,ย The New WKRP in Cincinnatiย and a starring role in theย TV movieย Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation. In 1994, after he moved back to Tennessee, Cho got a call fromย NBCย to host a revamped version ofย Friday Night Videosย titledย Friday Night. For two years, he commuted to Los Angeles weekly. More recently he appeared onย The Tonight Show with Jay Lenoย andย The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He was also the keynote speaker for the 59th Annual Radio and Television Correspondentsโ€™ Dinner. Cho is well-known as a โ€œcleanโ€ comedian, forgoing profanity and objectionable material,[3]ย and has sometimes been referred to as โ€œMr. Cleanโ€.[4]

He has appeared in threeย feature films. In 1997, he starred oppositeย Tom Arnoldย andย David Alan Grierย inย McHaleโ€™s Navy. In 2001, he appeared in theย Farrelly Brothersโ€˜ movieย Say It Isnโ€™t Soย withย Heather Grahamย andย Chris Klein. Most recently, in 2006, he appeared inย Material Girlsย starringย Hilaryย andย Haylie Duff.

During the holiday seasons of 2003 and 2004, Cho toured the U.S. withย Amy Grantย andย Vince Gill, appearing live during the coupleโ€™s show.

In 2006, he had his ownย Comedy Centralย specialย entitledย Henry Cho: Whatโ€™s That Clickinโ€™ Noise?ย in whichย Jeff Foxworthy,ย Bill Engvall, andย Larry the Cable Guyย were special guest voices in the opening scene.
