Saturday, December 3, the City of Hubbard along with the Greater Hubbard Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Christmas celebration. The all-day event features downtown shopping and vendors, as well as Santa, at the Civic Center. Breakfast and Lunch will be offered by the Hubbard FFA. Attendees will enjoy an open house at the Historic High School, a Christmas parade downtown, a band concert and other entertainment groups, as well as the annual Soup and Cornbread Supper at Historic HHS. All Hubbard businesses are invited to join in a window decorating contest. Judging will be on Saturday morning. Parade participants of all kinds are welcome to attend. Prizes will be awarded, and winners announced at 3:30 PM at the Civic Center.

The 17th Annual Official Hubbard Toy Drive and Giveaway will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at the Wheatley Recreation Center, located at 501 SW Davis Street. To make sure this year is successful, the community is asked for support. Churches, businesses, and supporters are requested to make a small donation or unwrapped gift for either a girl or boy.
All donations are appreciated. Please make any checks payable to the City of Hubbard. Unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at the Wheatley Recreation Center, City Hall, or Dollar General.
