The pirate hats and malt vinegar were a couple of my memories of Long John Silver’s, back when I was a youth. LJS opened their Corsicana location in October of 1976, and stayed in operation a little over 30 years before closing up the seafood shoppe. Last week, construction crews began demolition on the building that had been vacant for several years.
