That decision followed a discussion regarding the potential expansion of an existing solar farm into three additional tracts of land inside the defined 500-ft. area zoned around the lake.ย ย Several individuals addressed asked Commissioners to deny the zoning change.ย ย The item is likely to be addressed again at the next meeting of the Navarro County Commissioners Court.
The Court approved a replat of Herndon Addition, Tract 6 in Pct. 1.ย The request was approved for Manrique & Lino Ruiz.
A replat of Lot 24, in North Town Acres, in Pct. 1, was approved for Sunrise Group Properties Management.ย The subdivision meets all state and local regulations.
A final plat of Prairie Land Addition for Triple Ridge Investments, LLC, was tabled. The item is likely to be discussed at a future meeting following the receipt of additional information.
A final plat of Jaz Meadows Subdivision was approved for Jonathon Jasniak, Jaz Land, LLC. Pct. 1 Commissioner Jason Grant approved the motion contingent upon the adoption of deed restrictions.
Commissioners approved changes to the smoking area policy around the doors of the Navarro County Courthouse.
A motion to approve the Countyโs travel policy was tabled on Monday.
The Court approved a request from Gary Ramsey to replace existing culverts on SE CR 2135 with all cost and work to be his responsibility.ย Precinct Three Commissioner, Eddie Moore said he will oversee the work to ensure it meets county standards.
The Court also amended an existing Road Use Agreement with BDPU Solar to exclude NW CR 2280 in PCT 4.
Following an Executive Session Commissioners agreed to purchase a new metal detector for the Courthouse.ย ย The approximate cost of the equipment is expected to be $9000.
