UPDATE: On January 5th, 2022 the Corsicana Police Department executed arrest warrants for the offenses of Capital Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Santiago Solis, 26, was arrested and charged with Capital Murder of Multiple Persons, 2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Solis is also being held at the Navarro County Justice Center for Sex Offenders Duty to register and revocation of probation for the same charge. He is being held with bonds totaling $925,000.00. No further Information is available.
UPDATE: January 4,2022– The deceased have been identified as 23-year-old David Espinoza, and 22-year-old Angel Tristen Balderas. Both victims were Corsicana residents. Two other passengers in the vehicle were severely injured and remain hospitalized in the DFW area. Original Post: On January 2, 2022 at approximately 2:24 PM, the Corsicana Police Department received a 911 call reporting a major accident in the 1100 Blk of S.29th St. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle which had crashed into a fence. The vehicle had extensive damage from multiple gunshots. Four gunshot victims were found inside of the vehicle. The male driver and male front seat passenger were deceased at the scene. Two rear passengers, a male and female also suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to the Navarro Regional Hospital and airlifted to the DFW area for treatment.
