The City of Teague Board of Aldermen met on March 16, 2026, for a regularly called meeting to address a variety of city business and operational matters.
During the meeting, council members handled routine items within the consent agenda, including approval of prior meeting minutes, financial reports, and monthly statements. The council also revisited an ordinance related to records management, along with other items carried over from previous discussions.
New business included discussions surrounding city fees, budget amendments for the current fiscal year, and several ordinances related to recreational vehicle regulations and park standards. Additional topics included zoning considerations, airport provisions, and concerns regarding improper dumping within the city.
Department heads from public works, police, courts, and city administration provided updates, offering insight into ongoing projects and departmental activities.
The meeting also included discussion of future agenda items and upcoming election-related matters, as the council continues to plan for the city’s needs and operations.
