On February 26, 2025, the Kerens Volunteer Fire Department proudly hosted a captivating Murder Mystery Party at The Stockton Hall, in collaboration with The Murder Mystery Company.
This thrilling event not only promised an evening brimming with intrigue and entertainment but also aimed to benefit the fire department. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of all attendees, the event successfully raised an impressive $2,500.

As attendees entered, they were immersed in a captivating flapper-era theme reminiscent of the 1920s. Each table in the audience was assigned a suspect, and participants had to hunt for clues, using fake money to bribe suspects in their quest to solve the mystery. Teams had fun working together as they followed clues and pieced together the puzzle of whodunit, leading to moments of laughter and drama throughout the evening.
A delightful surprise for the fire department was the involvement of students from the Kerens ISD One Act group, who took on the role of servers for the night. This allowed the Kerens Volunteer Fire Department members to relax and fully enjoy the festivities.
Overall, the Murder Mystery Party was not only a successful fundraising event but also an unforgettable night of fun and camaraderie for everyone involved.
