Miss Texas, Annette Addo-Yobo, attended a charming tea event at Moody Bradley House, where she mingled with guests, signed autographs, and posed for photos. Attendees savored delicious desserts and golden punch, graciously supplied by Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation. Additionally, face painting was offered, courtesy of Blue Sky Window Cleaning.
Annette Addo-Yobo has made history as the first American immigrant to hold the Miss Texas title. During her reign, she will champion her community service initiative, The S.P.A.R.K. Project: Autism Safety, Awareness, and Education.
Alongside her advocacy work, Annette recently earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Lamar University, a step toward her goal of obtaining a Juris Doctorate. Through the Miss America Organization, she has accumulated over $55,000 in academic scholarships to support her education.
Most recently, Annette competed in the Miss America pageant, where she was awarded an additional $13,000 in scholarships. She was honored as the preliminary evening gown winner and placed as the first runner-up to Miss America 2025.
