Casey Donahew loaded the building with adoring fans, Saturday, November 23, 2024 with a large number of tables reserved for crowds eager to make sure they had a front row seat to Donahew’s performance.
The main act was opened for by Casey Daniels and the Dead Angels, an alt rock/Red Dirt band from Denison, Texas. Performing songs like “Country Wild”, “Highway 19”, “Bust out the Moonshine” and “Shake This Town”, Casey Daniels Band got the crowd primmed and ready for the main event, drawing couples and single alike out to the dance floor with heady, blood-thumping music that grabbed the listeners down in the gut. Their album came out in 2022 and is available for a listen on Spotify, Amazon music and Apple Music.
Casey Donahew took the stage to raucous cheers and a fully packed dance floor. Donahew has been making music for more than 20 years, a proud Texas native. He has created a following simply by being authentic and genuine with his fanbase. He sang a cover of Toby Keith’s “Should Have Been A Cowboy” as a tribute to the late country legend. His 2016 album All Night Party reached number 3 on the Billboard Country chart. His new album Never Not Love You is available now with seventeen new tracks.
His performance included covers and original tracks from his ten albums. It is exceptionally clear that Donahew loves what he does and has a deep love of creating impactful and earworm inducing music like his single off the newest album “Hungover Again” and “When She Kissed Me”. His tour continues with shows in Denver, Colorado, Wichita, Kansas and Las Vegas, Nevada. He is slated to be back in Texas in Abilene on December 19th.
