CPD Searching for East Side Shooting Suspect

Early Saturday morning at around 3:30 AM, Corsicana Police Department officers responded to the 900 Block of E 1st Avenue in reference to a shooting. On arrival, officers identified two victims who suffered non life threatening injuries gun shot wounds.

The suspect was identified by witnesses as 18 year old Demarcus Williams. Williams was last observed wearing a gray hoodie and left the scene in a red passenger car with a white bumper.

Williams is still at large and Corsicana Police Chief Robert Johnson stated, “Please contact the Corsicana Police Department via 911 if you know his whereabouts. Do not attempt to apprehend. Williams is considered armed and dangerous.”
