Gonzalo Lopez, escaped TDCJ Inmate since May 12th, fled the Leon County area in a white Chevrolet pickup, which is believed to be stolen from the 5 people found deceased in a Leon County vacation home.
Lopez is believed to have killed the grandfather and his four grandchildren before fleeing to the San Antonio area, where he was involved in a shootout with San Antonio area law enforcement.
After the shootout, Lopez was located and found deceased. No officers were injured.
