The rodeo is coming to town this weekend! The Navarro County Pro Rodeo, benefiting the Corsicana Firefighters Union 1550, kicks off with Navarro College Night on Friday. Present your Navarro College badge, both students and faculty, and enter the rodeo for only $5!
Featured at this year’s rodeo performance is Haley Proctor. Haley began trick riding at the age of 4 from her uncle, 4X NFR Contract Act Shawn Brackett. She’s had the opportunity to travel and work with legendary riders at some of the greatest rodeo venues in the country. Haley is known for her Trick riding, Roman Riding, and High Schooled Liberty Acts, where she is proud to display her Cherokee heritage throughout the show.
Professional Rodeo Clown, Ronald Burton, will bring his clowning skills to Corsicana as well. Burton, the 11-time CPRA Contract Act of the Year and 2020 PRCA Great Lakes Circuit Finals Barrel Man winner, is more recognizable from the Coca Cola commercial filmed at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Ronald is dedicated to entertaining audiences, protecting the bull riders in the arena, and demonstrating professionalism and hard work behind the scenes at the rodeo.
Events include Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bullriding, and so much more.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM and will kickoff each night with Mutton Bustin at 7 PM.
