On Wednesday, after only 29 minutes, a jury returned a guilty verdict to Timothy Russell, charged with Intoxicated Vehicular Manslaughter and received a 99 year sentence.
Russell, was arrested last June for the death of Davius Brown, who was killed April 24, 2021, near the Russell Stover Candy Factory. After an extensive investigation led by Corsicana Police Detective Sean Frasier, Corsicana Police were able to present the case to Navarro County District Attorney Will Thompson. Thompson prosecuted the case with the assistance of ADA’s Sherry Shumer and Jacob Shaw.
