V's Treats Places In Baking Competition

Veronica Convento is a local student at Kerens High School and is a self-taught baker that runs her own bakery business called “V’s Treats Got the Plug.”

This teen entrepreneur has recently placed in the Top 20 of the Greatest Baker Competition for her creative (and delicious creations). The Greatest Baker Competition is a nationwide challenge, presented by celebrity baker Buddy Valestro, of “Cake Boss” notoriety. Valestro will be hosting exclusive workshops and Q&A sessions for competitors as they work their way through each of the elimination rounds. There will be a social media voting component as well, voting will be open starting November 27th. The winner of the 2023 Greatest Baker Competition will win a $10,000 cash prize, an exclusive feature in “Bake from Scratch” magazine, and a meet and greet with the TV star himself.
